Dr. Waheed Osinowo

Dr. Abiodun Waheed Osinowo studied Medicine and Surgery at the Ogun State University (now Olabisi Onabajo University) where he graduated in 1992 with Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). He had his Master’s Degree in Public Health (MPH) from the University of Lagos in 2004.

Dr. Osinowo, an accomplished medical practitioner, is the Founder of Rally Hospital, having its Head Office at Ilupeju and a center in Ketu, Lagos, where he serves as the Medical Director.

Apart from being a Medical Practitioner, Dr. Osinowo is a passionate entrepreneur. He is the Founder of Rally Bio Diagnostic Services, a functional laboratory and effective medical support outfit now operating as Rally Hospital Laboratory.

In 2012, he ventured into the education sector and established Rodiyah Group of schools in Lagos, where he currently serves at the Chairman of Board of Directors. Also, he was recently appointed as a Director of Ilisan Microfinance Bank where he is currently the Chairman of Board Credit, Risk and Compliance Committee. This is in addition to his flare for real estate investment owing to his involvement in lofty real estate projects.

Dr. Osinowo was also involved in politics at a time when he was the Supervisor for Health and Vice Chairman of Ikenne Local Government. In addition, he was the past Chairman of Ogun State Task Force on Private Health Facility.

Dr. A.W. Osinowo belongs to several Professional Medical Organizations and held several executive positions too. These included:
• Association of Nigerian Private Medical Practitioners (ANPMP)
• American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP)
• Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) where he served in various executive positions such as:
• Zonal Secretary – Kosofe NMA/ANPMP.
• 2nd Vice Chairman – NMA Lagos
• 1st Vice Chairman – NMA Lagos
Dr. Osinowo has highly enriched social capital. He is a philanthropist per excellence, and a family man to the core. He belongs to several socio-cultural groups and community associations, and has been invested with several chieftaincy and religious titles and awards across States in Nigeria.

He is happily married to a seasoned Banker and Chartered Accountant, and blessed with successful professional with career in international consulting in Canada (CPA) working with the foremost Deloitte Canada; and a Medical Student, a Law Student and an Engineering Student.

Dr. Abdullah Shuaib

Dr. Abdullahi Shuaib is the Lead Consultant and Chief Executive Officer of AS & Associates, Nigeria. He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and master in political science (with specialization in Public Administration) both from the University of Lagos, Akoka and a PhD in Islamic Social Finance, Social Services and Non-Governmental Organizations from Loughborough University, United Kingdom. He also attended an Arabic Language proficiency course at the Institute of Language, International University of Africa, Khartoum – Sudan. He obtained another professional certificate in Islamic finance and banking from the International Institute of Islamic Banking and Finance (IIIBF), Bayero University Kano and a professional certificate in Interfaith Conflict Resolution & Reflective Structured Dialogue at the University of Massachusetts, Boston – USA.

He is a FELLOW of several development institutions such as Institute of Islamic Finance Professionals; Institute of Management Consultants of Nigeria; Association of African Entrepreneurs of Nigeria; Civilian Institute of Democratic Administration; Institute of Classic Entrepreneurs; Centre for Public Service Productivity and Development and Institute of Public Administrators of England and Wales. He is also a Senior Fellow of Halal Professionals.

Dr. Shuaib was the former Director-General/CEO of Jaiz Charity and Development Foundation, Abuja; a former Executive Secretary/CEO of the Nigeria-Arab Chamber of Commerce and Industries/Nigerian-Arab Association, former Head (Southwest Nigeria), Penman Pension Limited and the pioneer Executive Director/CEO, Zakat and Sadaqat Foundation. He was a former member of the Governing Council of Institute of Islamic Finance Professionals (IIFP), former Director, Al-Barakah Microfinance Bank Limited, as well as a former Director, Hajj Mabrur Ventures Limited. He also had a stint with the Lagos State University (LASU), Ikoyi External Campus and Ansar-ud-een College of Education, Isolo as a facilitator. Some of his publications are listed in Emerald Publishing Journals, Academia and ResearchGate.

He is a Certified Code of Ethics Practitioner, a Certified Islamic Banker, a Certified Islamic Specialist in Shari’ah Auditing of the General Council for Islamic Banks and Financial Institutions (CIBAFI). He is also a Fellow and Certified Shari’ah Advisor and Auditor of the Auditing and Accounting Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions (AAOIFI), a Certified Public Administrator of England and Wales as well as a Certified Management Consultant of the Institute of Management Consultants of Nigeria. Dr. Shuaib is also an Associate member of the Nigerian Institute of Management; a Member of the Chartered Institute of Directors – Nigeria; Member of International Centre for Ethno-Religious Mediation, New York, USA as well as a Registered Professional of the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria. In addition, he is an Inductee of the International WHO’S WHO of Professionals by the International WHO’S WHO Historical Society (IWWHS), Washingto, DC, USA and currently the Co-Chairman, Nigeria Inter-Religious Council (NIREC) Lagos State Chapter.

Dr. Shuaib is also currently a non-Executive Director of Jaiz Takaful Insurance Ltd, Jaiz International Halal Certification Limited and El-Jaiz Investments and Services Limited.

He is a facilitator at the University of Lagos Business School, Akoka (Postgraduate Program on Non-Interest Finance).

He is an expert in Islamic finance, management, NGOs, leadership and strategic thinking among others.

Dr. Muftau Jimoh

Dr. Mufutau Oluwasegun Jimoh holds a B.A, History and Diplomatic Studies, Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye; M.A, African History, University of Ibadan; and PhD from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, Nigeria.

He is currently a Senior Lecturer of African History at the Federal University Birnin-Kebbi, Nigeria while he has previously taught at Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye and University of Ibadan, Nigeria. Dr. Jimoh was at various times a visiting research fellow at the Birkbeck College, University of London and the University of Ghana, Legon.

He is also A Fellow of the American Council of Learned Societies; French Institute for Research in Africa; and a Member of How Epidemics Ends, a multidisciplinary project of Oxford University, London. In 2014, Dr. Jimoh was appointed by the Lagos State government under the administration of Governor Babatunde Fashola as a Member of Lagos State History Committee. A Committee saddled with the responsibility of writing a comprehensive history of Lagos State. Dr Jimoh is the Historical Consultant to African Law Practice, one of the leading Law firm in Nigeria.

His research focus is on Lagos history, medical history of Nigeria, and Heritage studies. He is one of the Editors of The Balogun in Yorubaland: The Changing Fortune of a Military Institution (2016). He has attended conferences in the United Kingdom, Canada, Portugal, France, Ghana, and South Africa. He is a respected voice in his community affairs in Eredo Development Area of Lagos State and enjoys business transaction, especially in real estate.

Ola Bakare, Esq.

Ola Bakare, Esq. is a multi-dimensional expert in law practice, business, finance and real estate. After his first degree in Law and his call to the Nigerian Bar, Ola bags an LLM Degree from the University of South Wales, United Kingdom and also became the first legal practitioner in the Sub-Saharan Africa to be awarded the prestigious qualification of Chartered Islamic Finance Professional from the INCEIF University, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
